The biggest problem of our (and previous) generations is probably that we use too much of everything. We use too much natural resources, too much electricity, too much salt in our food, too much clean water, and we definitely spend too much time on our smartphones. You hardly see a group of friends in the pub chatting without half of them scanning their phones and when was the last time you saw a mum pushing the baby stroller while NOT looking on her IPhone?
This makes the action of Unicef together with Giorgio Armani so cool: it makes us give up something important to us, to donate something (even more) important for people in need.
For every 10 minutes you don't touch your phone, Armani will provide one day of clean water for a child in need. This initiative is part of the UNICEF Tap Project aiming to help the 768 million people around the world without access to clean water.
My "tap" is running right now, and within 1 minute Armani will donate a days water supply for some one in need. A pretty easy way to help someone in need! How much water are you going to "squeeze" out of mr Armani?
